The Red Seal, Silk Sneakers

The red seals used to sign East Asian artworks provide the starting point for this design. Red brocade fabric with woven patterns is paired with contrasting ivory panels, bringing different colours and textures together across the upper.

Gold-accent stitching and metal charms inspired by traditional seals add the finishing details. The design references the artist’s seal rather than a single painting. EU sizes 35 to 47 are listed in the chart below, with a foot-length measurement for each size to help guide your choice.

To measure, place a sheet of paper against a wall and stand with your heel touching the wall. Mark the end of your longest toe, then measure from the wall to the mark.
